Who is this site for?

The film enthusiast and collector, the movie buff, the fan, the cinema researcher and the investor (posters, adverts, pictures can appreciate in value).

About the items on this site

Almost by definition, memorabilia is second hand.  All the items on this site are memorabilia of one sort or another.  Nothing is new.  Everything is what is called "used".  A few things are "as new" which means mint condition but even here they are still "second hand".

Payment methods available for things from this site?

I live in the UK, in Sheffield, but will deal with anyone anywhere in the world that can be reached by the Royal Mail.  I can accept payment by: (1)Cheques in GB£ drawn on UK banks: (2)UK postal orders: (3)International money orders in GB£: (4)PayPal which will change many principal currencies into GB£ and is usually the least expensive way to purchase from abroad.  PayPal also allows you to use your credit or debit card to make a payment.  You pay PayPal in your currency, PayPal convert it to GB£ and then PayPal pay me.  Click right here on www.paypal.com to visit PayPal for details on making payments.

Privacy

No information is taken from (potential) customers through this web site or stored anywhere on this site.  All contact is through emails only.  Any and all  information customers and visitors provide while purchasing, selling or just looking does not appear anywhere on this web site and will be kept confidential.  Under no circumstances will any information be passed to anyone else.

About me

My name is Stan Duke.  The contents of this site represent many, many years of collecting cinema related material.  My emphasis as a collector was with American and British films and I gathered anything and everything that I felt was worthwhile.  I started this web site in January 2003 after I retired.  What better way to continue than to deal in that which up till then was only a hobby?  Everything on this site was collected by me from source.  How do I know a poster is original?  Because I got it myself from a cinema or a distributor or a source I knew and trusted.  If I'm not 100% certain of originality, I won't claim it to be so.

Why pictures of items have to be requested

There are hundreds of items on this site.  To put pictures of all items on the site would increase its size enormously.  Since the cost of registering a site and having it hosted depends on the size of the site, I keep my costs down (and hopefully my prices) by sending photos of items via email as requested.
